Masala chai

Pure Assam tea and warming whole spices.

Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, clove and black pepper, brewed with milk the way masala chai is made at home in India. It brews dark, so it stands up to plenty of milk.

Ingredients: Assam black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, clove, black pepper.

Cardamom chai

  2. Froth. Warm and froth your favorite milk.
  3. Enjoy. Strain, sweeten to taste and add the milk.

This is the method printed on the back of every pouch.

Questions

Good to know

How many cups does a pouch make?

30 cups of 200 ml. Use one level tablespoon, about 5 g, for every cup.

What is the difference between masala chai and cardamom chai?

Both start with the same strong Assam CTC black tea. Masala chai adds six spices: cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, clove and black pepper. Cardamom chai uses cardamom alone, so the cup is softer and less spicy. More on the difference.

Is shipping included?

Yes. A pouch is $19.99 and any two pouches are $34.99, with shipping anywhere in the US included.

How fast does it ship?

Within one to two business days, by USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.

Is it sweetened?

No. Both blends are unsweetened, so you sweeten the cup to your taste.

What is the difference between the pouches and the tube?

The pouches use CTC Assam, small rolled granules that brew fast, dark and strong. The tube uses whole-leaf Assam, which is smoother and more layered. Both make 30 cups at 5 g a cup.
