These terms govern your purchase from chairituals.co, operated by Chai Rituals LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company at 2 Hearthstone Court, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if an item is out of stock, if the price or description was clearly wrong, if we cannot ship to your address, or if we suspect fraud. We sell to end customers only; for resale, see wholesale.
All prices are in US dollars and were accurate when published. New Jersey does not tax most food and beverage items of this kind, so sales tax is generally not added; where tax is due it is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. We accept the cards and wallets Stripe presents to you.
Promotional codes are single use unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time. A welcome code is issued once per person. We may void codes obtained by automated means or by signing up more than once.
We ship within the United States only. Orders leave New Jersey within 1–2 business days, except concentrate, which ships on Sundays, and pre-orders, which ship on the date we give you. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; once a package is with the carrier its progress is outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery — so if a package is lost or arrives damaged, it is ours to fix. Tell us and we will replace or refund it.
If a package is returned to us because the address was incomplete or nobody could receive it, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Reshipping may incur a further shipping charge.
If you are not happy, email hello@chairituals.co within 30 days of delivery and we will refund you in full. Because these are food products we do not ask you to ship anything back. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
These are perishable food products. Store as directed on the label; keep concentrate refrigerated at all times, opened or not, and use it by the date on the bottle. Our products contain tea and whole spices and are not certified allergen-free — the full ingredient list is on every label and on each product page, and if you have an allergy or a medical condition, read it before you buy. Photographs are representative; small natural variation between batches is normal and is not a defect.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Keep your contact details accurate so we can reach you about your order. Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, or to scrape or resell its content.
The Chai Rituals name, logo, packaging, photography, and site text are ours. You may not use them commercially without our written permission.
We stand behind our products and offer the refund above without argument. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the site and products are provided as they are, and our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Bergen County, New Jersey, and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
Before that, please email us. We would much rather fix a problem with your order than argue about it. If you are considering a chargeback, please contact us first.
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you placed your order.
